Tawna’s first exposure to homeopathy was in childhood where she remembers her mother giving her tablets to dissolve under her tongue for seasonal allergies. It wasn’t until decades later, after ‘discovering’ homeopathy on her own, that she realized her mother had given her homeopathic remedies. Tawna has been actively using homeopathy herself and for her family for the last 15 years. During that time, she was working as a hospital/long term inpatient pharmacy technician which brings her a well-rounded understanding of the hospital system and main stream medicine. When pharmacy technicians entered into government regulation, Tawna decided it was time to move on to a form of holistic medicine that was more in line with her roots and her beliefs. Tawna completed her classical homeopathy studies through the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine while still working full time as a pharmacy technician. After graduation, Tawna was introduced to a homeopath in Lethbridge who used biofeedback in her practice. Tawna was moved by the wealth of information gained by the biofeedback device and the insight it provided a practitioner into the needs of the client’s health. Tawna spent the better part of the next year mentoring with this homeopath and training in her methods. Toward the end of her mentorship, Tawna purchased the Indigo biofeedback device and began her official training through The Quantum Academies. Tawna believes in the homeopathic tenant that health is not just an absence of symptoms, it is a complete freedom to engage in any life activity without hinderance on the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual levels. Health is a lifelong journey of adapting and adjusting as we go through various life stages and stressors. Life and health are never static. We must be able to adapt and move fluidly through periods of adjustment and stress, when we lose the ability to adapt or become rigid on any level, it indicates that there is dis-ease happening on some level. With biofeedback and homeopathy, we can begin unravelling the threads of life stressors and move toward balance.
