What is Homoeoprophylaxis?
“Homeoprophylaxis (HP) is the use of potentized substances in a systematic manner to prevent the development of the characteristic symptoms of disease.”- Dr. Golden
Here's What You Can Expect during your Homoeoprophylaxis appointment.
The length of the program is 76 months, with the parent administering the remedies once a month for the first 12 months, then reducing the frequency.
The initial appointment is 1 hour in length and allows the homeopath to explain the complete protocol, answer any questions you may have, and get a baseline of your child’s health.
You will have the flexibility to customize the program to meet the specific needs of your family.
No treatment can provide a guarantee, and using this program does not necessarily prevent the disease nor does it create antibodies, instead it may help prevent the development of the characteristic symptoms of the disease.

Have an upcoming Trip?
Consider Travel Homoeoprophylaxis
The Travel Homoeoprophylaxis (HP) protocol is done in a systematic manner to increase the effectiveness of the program. This type of appointment is ideally booked 1 month before travel, however if this is not possible, a modified schedule can be created.
The frequency of dosing depends on the number of homoeoprophylaxis remedies you decide to take and the duration of your trip. For example, a client who chooses to take 3 HP and will be away for 1-6 weeks, would take a remedy every 5th night prior to travel and then a repeated dose while at the destination if it is an area of high exposure.
The initial travel appointment can include up to 4 travellers. Please note that each person 18 years and older MUST sign their own waiver in order to receive homoeoprophylaxis.
Important Points To Note:
It is your responsibility to research your area of travel, in regard to disease prevalence and concerns prior to your appointment. You will decide which HP are relevant to the locations you will be traveling to; the homeopath will not make those decisions.
